About the artwork

The artist ties bells to cedar trees using hemp material to replay the breath of local people along with the sound of the bell. By putting “circle” and “connection” (such as family, ancestors, and community) that co-exist with surrounding trees in the space, the artist embraced surrounding trees as part of the artwork.
