About the artwork

A dome made of cedar branches sits in a big reservoir, visible from Route 117. This is a room where people can look at the water and reflect on it. The room and the shore are linked by boat, and visitors must make the trip between them. Between tree branches (products of nature) and the reservoir (man-made), this is a place to think about water and nature, and what water means in our lives. Many people stood in the room and discussed the topic of water. Acrylic boards were used to allow visitors to see the sky above and water below.
