About the artwork

The trees are the source of life, without trees there will be no life.This is the place to encounter the nature, to have private dialogue with the forest, to meet the source of life, to feel the serene harmony of Matsudai. It is also the place to express our willingness, our commitment to love the trees to keep the forest, to love life. The place that we want to share our togetherness as human beings in relationship with the trees and the forest, to re-new our responsibility to plant the seeds, to prepare the forest for the future. This structure consist of curve linear pathways climbing up along the existing trees, and there is a gate in rock formation, and then a wooden structure with semiclose space that leads into an open platform in an empty space, then another narrow linear pathway to the end point tiny circular stone formation. This serial spatial experiences supposed to be a journey to greet the spirit of Matsudai forest, a place to meet Mother Nature.
