About the artwork

The artist has been collaborating with “fukuro-no-kai” of the Doichi village since2003. For ETAT2015 the artist presented installation of 20,000 ceramic bells hung amongst trees adjacent to Mizusawa nursery as well as ran workshop for parents and children of the nursery to paint the bell displayed at the nursery ground. A percussionist Sachiko Nagata delivered a concert using music instruments made by the artist and artworks (ceramic bells) during the festival.
