About the artwork

An installation in a vacant house and surroundings. On the first floor three large resin rocks are placed and on the wall there is a projection with images of both Mexican jacaranda tree flowers and Japanese cherry blossoms. Many resin stones hang from the ceiling and visitors walk through the garden inside the house as if they were weaving through a forest of rocks. The artist has “planted” flowers that she has made in the cracks that have appeared over time on the wooden floor of the second story and around the house. These flowers overflow outwards from inside the house. Marigolds, which were planted by the people of the village, welcome visitors and bid them farewell.
