About the artwork

We will design banners in favourite colours chosen by local people and set up panels looking like a signboard of films in red which is believed to have efficacy in warding off bad luck on both sides of the approach to Takakura Juniso Shrine. There will be multiple red torii gates leading to the main building of the shrine. We will print images of Takakura and local people on fabric and hung them from the torii gates like noren while screening a movie inside the main building.
