About the artwork
This work is on display in a vacant house that a metal worker once lived in.The artist has made a studio with various objects and tools for use by an imaginary artisan making bells and strange implements to send bells flying through space. Using sound, this installation connects the house with the village and enables one to feel the presence of people one cannot see. The work also extends to the Dragon Museum of Contemporary Art located up the mountain from here. The village and the mountain are connected by an invisible line of sound.
