About the artwork

The theme of this work is the dragon, the water god who guards the terraced fields. Here is the seat where the god who protects the lives of both the people and their fields can desscend. Made by piling up large numbers of logs and ceramic blocks, this work conveys an overwhelming sense of volume and energy.
