About the artwork

Climb upstairs to the second floor and peep into the small storeroom, and you will see pieces of green bamboo displayed as though they are swimming freely across the room. Inspired by the storeroom as a space, the artist expresses through plants the sense of security one might feel alone in a tiny space like an attic or closet. Full of life, the bamboo stalks stretch themselves out in this confined space, expressing the artist’s playful and free spirit.
