About the artwork

The artist took clothes once worn by people, reducing them to their original thread, and then recomposed this thread into new forms of representation for this delicate installation. Here, the artist used the worn clothes of her grandmother to develop the main part of her installation. The forgotten space of the abandoned school overlaid with the depth of memory possessed by the elderly, transformed the entire classroom into the artistic enclosure of this work.
