About the artwork

The artist expressed the energy of the earth radiated to the heavens, using the entire NO BUTAI building (outdoor, rooftop, indoor). The visitors made sounds by hitting the work. During the Triennial period, the artist did a performance of images, music and dance with local musicians and junior high school students. “I was given great energy by people, the place and the events. The Triennial was always an exciting and festive place.” (Toshihiko Okabe)
