Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET will host a Ukraine Week to coincide with its opening. As the inaugural event, a symposium featuring Nikita Kadan will be held! Let’s also explore various aspects of Ukrainian culture, including art, picture books, food, and film.

Tickets can be reserved from 23 June (Sun) at 10:00 on Peatix.

Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET

The base facility of the "Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale". The architecture was designed by Hara Hiroshi + ATLIERΦ, who also designed the Kyoto Station Building. Fifteen permanent works by artists from Japan and abroad are on display throughout the year, with special exhibitions held seasonally and a museum shop. In 2021, the museum reopened with a major relocation of the permanent collection.

[CHINAHOUSE] SPECIAL EXHIBITION “START FROM EIGHT VOLUMES”

CHINAHOUSE, a cultural exchange center with China, was created in 2016 by renovating a vacant house. In the 10 years since the project began, 8 newsletters have been published, chronicling the project's activities. The history of the project is on display on the second floor of the building.
