Artist in residence program 2019 at Australia House

Summary

Elena Knox (performance and media artist) has been selected for the Artist-in-resident programme 2019 at Australia House through public call. She will stay in Australia House and develop a video-installation project using robot – an artwork to be created by engaging local community through workshop and interviews. ※ The duration of her stay will be confirmed in due course.

About the artist

Elena Knox

Born in 1975. Currently based in Tokyo and pursuing research project at Waseda University. She has been making artworks in interdisciplinary fields in the form of digital media, performance, sculpture, sound, music and installation. She will make an artwork during her residency by referring to Japanese robot, her experience in the landscape and expedition to the North Pole.
