We are pleased to introduce three new players to FC Echigo-Tsumari. FC Echigo-Tsumari is a female football team which players move to Echigo-Tsumari to work on farming while aiming to join a professional female football league in future. The team won all the games in Niigata Female Football league last year and has been registered to play in “Hokushinetsu 2nd tier league” this year. The preparation for rice production on the terraced rice field will start in April and we are calling for people to become Sato-Oya (terraced rice field owners) for the year 2021. We appreciate your continued support throughout.

Uniform number 4. Position DF. Originally from Kamakura-city, Kanazawa. Playing football for tweleve years.
Known for high physical ability. Joined the team as a support member last year and contributed to winning the games.
KIMURA Juna ※Photo right
23-year-old. Uniform number 1. Position GK. Originally from Kashihara-city, Nara. Playing football for tweleve years.
The 2nd player in FC Echigo-Tsumari to be a goal-keeper. With her outstanding explosiveness and high power, she is expected to make a great contribution to both football and farming.
Oya Chihiro ※Photo centre
Uniform number 3. Position DF. Originally Nishi-ku, Niigata-city, Niigata. Playing football for five years.
She became interested in the combination of farming and football and decided to join the team. The first player from Niigata in the FC Echigo-Tsumari.
※ We spent more than a month to check body temprature and manage physical conditions before registration and moving life to Echigo-Tsumari.
Matsudai Tanada Bank
Matsudai Tanada Bank is a platform to invite people to become Sato-Oya (owner) of the terraced rice fields located mainly in Matsudai area in Tokamachi-city, Niiagata which have lost original farmers to look after due to ageing and depopulation. Contributions from Sato-Oya help continue the rice production in these fields and Sato-Oya is invited to particiate in rice planting, weeding, and harvesting throughout the year and receive harvested rice in returen in autumn.

FC Echigo-Tsumari
Launced in July 2015, FC Echigo-Tsumari is a female football club for players who moved their residence base to Echigo-Tsumari work on farming while practicing and playing football with aspiration to join the top league as professionals. With new members joining in January 2021, the total number of players has become 9.
