Echigo Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo is so popular that it is always fully booked on weekends and holidays. The popular “Satoyama Buffet” is available every day (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays) until 9/25, and will return only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 9/26, so don’t miss this opportunity!

[Satoyama Buffet / Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays only]
*Buffet is available until 9/25 (Sun.) except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
*The first customer in line will be shown to his or her seat.
*The buffet will be closed when all the food is gone.

Elementary school students 1,000 yen
Infants 500 yen

This buffet offers a variety of local delicacies and home-style dishes arranged using fresh vegetables grown by producers whose faces are well known to the public and wild vegetables nurtured by the living nature of Echigo-Tsumari.

Satoyama Gohan 1,200 yen
A lunch set that includes rice and soup with assorted side dishes that change daily.

[Sweets and beverages]
Seasonal drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages made with natural ingredients and seasonal bounty make for a rich tea time in the satoyama. The original sweets such as “corn macaroon,” “plum pound cake,” “tiramisu with sake and green tea,” and “eggplant pudding” are very popular among the staff.
