Ilya&Emilia Kabakov, “The Rice Fields”: Exhibition Suspended

Due to exterior painting work on the Matsudai NOHBUTAI, access to the observation deck for Ilya&Emilia Kabakov’s ≪Rice Fields≫ will be restricted.

  • Closed to the public: September 1 (Tue) through the end of December
    *Please note that the period of closure is subject to change depending on the progress of construction.
    *Although the poetry frames installed at the observation deck will not be viewable, visitors will still be able to view the yellow and blue sculptures outside without looking through the frames.

Hours|10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Last admission at 4:30 p.m.)
Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (If two or more consecutive public holidays fall on a Tuesday and Wednesday, the museum will be closed on the following business day instead)
Admission | Matsudai NOHBUTAI Field Museum Ticket: Adults 1,200 yen / Elementary and Middle School Students 600 yen; or Individual Ticket (valid at both the Field Museum and the Matsudai History Museum): Adults 600 yen / Elementary and Middle School Students 300 yen (Common Tickets and ETAT Passports are also available for a limited period)
