For guests staying at art festival artworks such as the House of Light, the Shedding House, the Dream House, and Australia House, we are launching a takeout service for breakfast and dinner provided by the Echigo Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo. Even if your accommodation does not offer meals, you can still enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients from the Echigo-Tsumari region. We hope you’ll enrich your special stay at these artworks with meals that showcase the bounty of the local area.

Dinner:
〇 Tsumari Pork Possaum:
We’ve slowly simmered “Tsumari Pork”—a premium brand from Echigo-Tsumari—with spices and aromatic vegetables. Please enjoy the juicy meat wrapped in fresh vegetables and served with Satoyama Shokudo’s special spicy miso. This main dish is a great way to enjoy plenty of delicious vegetables. *The meat will be provided in a vacuum-sealed package. Please heat it in a water bath at your accommodation before eating.

〇 The Rice Fields Rice
We provide uncooked rice, so please enjoy it freshly cooked at your accommodation.

〇 Tsumari Pork Pita Sandwich
Enjoy this flatbread sandwich filled with Tsumari pork taco meat and salad.

〇 Drip Coffee
This is the Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed’s original blend, roasted by “Meal Craft,” a specialty coffee shop in Echigo-Tsumari. It is also available at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Filed Museum Shop.

How to Make a Reservation｜Please click the button below (which will redirect you to the reservation site) to make your reservation at least one week prior to your pickup date.

Payment｜We require advance payment by credit card.

Minimum Party Size｜2 people or more

Pickup Location｜Echigo Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo

Pickup Time｜4:00 PM – 6:00 PM *We will accommodate your schedule as much as possible based on the facility’s check-in times.

Cancellation Fees｜3–2 days prior: 30%, 1 day prior: 50%, Same day: 100% (If the number of guests decreases, the fee will be charged per person.)
*We will accommodate allergies and meat-free requests to the extent possible (please note that all guests must order the same menu item).

<How to Enjoy>

Some menu items are served partially prepared. Please cook them at your accommodation to enjoy them fresh. The cooking process involves simple steps such as boiling or wrapping, and we will include instructions. Please note that accommodations offering takeout meals are equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils.
