Born in 1981 in Guizhou, China, currently resides in Chongqing. Yu has always enjoyed drawing since childhood under the influence of watching animations. The artist started art study since the third year of Junior High School and entred into the oil painting department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. As one of the most prominent young Chinese artists, Yu’s activities span from animation, illustration to filing and designing art derivatives. Yu has left busy metropolis in the last few years, moved his base do Chongqing and explored an alternative pathway for arts.
