Based in Tokyo since 2008, actively participated in group exhibitions and residency programs in Japan and South Korea. In 2013 and 2014, The artist presented projects using actual barbed wire on South Korean Pungnyeon Island, known for its proximity to North Korea. Recent works include installations using a technique called “newspaper drawing”, where the paper surface of newspaper is erased as a method of drawing. The artist received the CAFAA Award (Contemporary Art Foundation, 2021), participated in group exhibitions at the Mori Art Museum and held the first solo exhibition in London in 2023, sponsored by the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation.
