Born in 1988, based in Tokyo.
Graduated in 2013 from the Department of Painting (Oil Painting), Faculty of Art, Tama Art University. While still a student, she presented paintings depicting night cityscapes using round office stickers as her medium. The unexpected use of materials and visual beauty of her work earned her selection for the Tokyo Midtown Award 2012, where she also received the Audience Award.
She began her professional career as an artist thereafter. In 2018, she held a solo exhibition in Paris at the request of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO). Her exhibitions include participation in FLOWER at Takasaki Museum of Art (2020), and solo exhibitions such as Yukino Omura: BEAUTIFUL LIGHTS – The World of Round Sticker Art at Fukui City Art Museum (2023), Miraculous Sticker Art: The World of Yukino Omura – Beautiful Lights at Kushiro Art Museum (2024), and Special Exhibition of the 2025 Tonami Tulip Fair: Yukino Omura – The World of Sticker Art at Tonami Art Museum (2025). She has held numerous solo exhibitions across Japan and has participated in many group exhibitions. From fiscal year 2025, she has been responsible for the illustrations for the Asahi Shimbun column “Bungei Jihyō” (Literary Criticism).
In addition to presenting her own work, she supervises participatory workshops in which anyone can take part simply by placing stickers, and appears as an expert judge for round sticker art on the MBS television program Prebatto!!.
In 2023, she published her first book, Let’s Try! Everyone’s Sticker Art Book, through which she shares the joy and creative possibilities of “sticker art” with a wide audience.
