Established in Tokyo in 2016 with an initiative taken by OGAWA Nozomu, the director of Art Centre Ongoing located in Kichijoji, Tokyo. Total number of members is 48 including artists, musicians, curators and coordinators. Actively participating in exhibitions, art projects, symposium, residency programs and events both in Japan and abroad. What Ongoing Collective aspires to be is an organic group which is not formed upon any of the systems nor rules but built on more personal relations. There is no hierarchy amongst members and collective decisions are made through discussions and vibes at respective moment. They seek for a bright future that exist beyond the limit of individualism.
