Born in 1987 in Saitama. YORIKO has been running art projects which invite local residents to help create works in and outside Japan. She presents projects which are based upon the respective culture of the place and open to people in different age groups to interact in shared space and time. Major projects include “Nakanoji Biennale 2015 (Gunma), “Hacchi”, Artist in Residency program at Hachinohe Portal Museum (Aomori), Takamatsu Artist in Residence (2016, Kagawa) and Echigo-Tsumari Art Field 2016 Summer (Niigata), and “Water Tower Art Fest 2016” (Sofia, Bulgaria).
