About the artwork

After they are used, the plastic bags of supermarkets become junk. Overlapping the short life of supermarket bags with the eohemeral beauty of flowers, the artist intended to create a quite flower garden inside a closed school building in a village. She started workshops on flower- making from supermarket bags in May. She recalls what the villagers said to her laughing, “We are making flowers from junk, leaving our rice field overgrown with weeds.”
