About the artwork

A glass ball slowly rolls around the outside and inside of an abandoned thatched-roof house. Based on conversations with the villagers, the artist imagined the paths taken by both the people and objects of this house. The artist thought of the glass ball as means to awaken and gradually stimulate the imagination of visitors. Over the course of one “lap,” the glass ball travels 100-meters. By following the ever-changing movement of the ball through the scenery, visitors travel along the history of this old house.
