Workshop for making Banner Flag for the "Echigo-Tsumari Art Field Day"

Summary

Let's participate in the “Echigo-Tsumari Art Field Day” by making things!

A field day in Japan is an event where people of all ages gather to not only participate in competitions, but also to enjoy watching, eating lunch, and cheering for the athletes. The “Daichi no Undokai” (held on September 7) invites many people from overseas to participate in this kind of Japanese field day, and aims to make it more diverse and varied by inviting artists, musicians, and people who are not experts in anything to showcase their special skills.

We are also looking for participation in music and craftsmanship. In preparation for the Sports Day, a workshop for making banners to decorate the venue will be held in advance of the event. In the workshop, participants will make a banner (180 x 50-60 cm) or garland (20 x 20 cm / decorations made by connecting flags with string or wire). We look forward to your participation.
