The exhibition presenting Box Art by 40 artists across Japan. It presents diverse interpretations, definitions, materials and approaches of Box Art exploring an alternative possibility of box art.

Gallery Yuyama

Gallery Yuyama opened in a renovation of an old minka house in Matsunoyama area as a part of abandoned house project under Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2006 and has been running exhibition throughout the year under the management of contemporary art group, GUN set up in 1967 in Niigata. They organise exhibitions and events throughout the year featuring themselves being artists based in Niigata exploring various ways of expressions.
