"Tunnel of Light" by Ma Yansong / MAD Architects (Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel)
The tour begins at the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel, which has enjoyed unflagging popularity since its opening. Here you can witness the fusion of the gorge's natural beauty—one of Japan's three great gorges—with art. The breathtaking natural scenery, which changes with the seasons, is a must-see.

Lunch at Ubusuna House
The REBIRTH of this traditional thatched-roof house as a ceramics museum has brought new life to it. Enjoy the warm hospitality and hearty, wholesome cuisine prepared by the vibrant local mothers—a delight for both body and soul.

The only artwork in James Turrell's world where you can stay overnight, exploring "the perception of light" with light and space as its theme.
3:10 PM A Picture Book Museum Set in a Closed School
Hachi & Seizo Tashima Museum of Picture Book Art
Set in a museum housed within an abandoned school, artworks crafted from driftwood and nuts weave a tale depicting the final students' adventures.
4:20 PM The representative art museum of Echigo-Tsumari
Museum on Echigo-Tsumari, MonET, Akashi no Yu
The museum features artworks by renowned contemporary artists such as Nawa Kohei, Nakatani Michiko, and mé. In February, a new work by Antony Gormley was unveiled. Additionally, the MonET Special Exhibition presents the first large-scale solo exhibition by Ryosaku Miyasaka, who continues his creative activities while working in agriculture, at the age of 75.

Notice

・The itinerary may be changed or canceled due to natural disasters, road conditions, or other circumstances.

・Seats on the bus are assigned. If you are traveling with companions who booked separately, please indicate this when making your reservation.

・For some artworks, you may need to walk a short distance after disembarking the bus. Please wear comfortable shoes that are easy to slip on and off.

・Bring a hat and drinks on hot days, and rain gear on rainy days.

・Arrival times at the final destination may vary due to road conditions, etc. Please make a Shinkansen reservation with ample time.
