Tanaka Kaori

Born in Tokyo (1959-2013). Japanese-style painter known for dinamic composition capturing nature such as grass and trees, stones and soils, rainfalls and snow, flowing water and blowing wind. Her artworks span from objective images such as “pine” to recent “□△○” in which supporting elements expressed in geometric language to the very last series such as “line” and “deer” drawn by one abstructed line represending outlook on nature and the universe. In addition to many solo and group exhibitions, she produced lots of artworks on commision basis such as headquater of Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc, The Peninshula Tokyo, and St Regis Hotel Osaka.
