Born and resides in 1962 in the Netherlands. Van der Molen makes artworks responding to the theme of the impact of human activities on nature, by featuring contemporary challenges we face. Through research and experience, the artist identifies an “entry point” to the site where she installs her site-specific artworks expressing this. The consistent concern of her artworks is the relation between humans and nature. She works with natural materials in order to deepen the bond with nature through her artworks.
