Born in Tokyo in 1943. Potter and sculptor. After graduating Musashino Art College he began working on garden design. Inspired by Iga ware (Mie prefecture), his creations span from vassels to designing environment based upon climate such as gardens – which are different concept from ones in Europe and USA.
