Australia House Winter Program 2022

Summary

Join us at “Australia House” as we prepare for winter in Echigo-Tsumari in the deepening autumn. On Sunday, October 30, we will hold the annual winter preparation of Australia House, “snow fencing and planting” with local Urada villagers. This is a winter preparation activity to protect the building from snow, which is unique to this area of heavy snowfall. In addition, artists Yutaka Kawaguchi and Kaori Naito, who are in charge of creating and maintaining the garden at the Australia House, will also join us to maintain the garden. If you would like to experience the beginning of winter in Echigo-Tsumari together, please come and join us.
