Echigo-Tsumari Art Field 2020 Autumn runs until Sunday 1 November 2020 and the highlight of the program is lunch served at different restaurants and cafes featuring newly harvested rice this autumn.

■ Must-try ① “new rice lunch”
“Katakuri House” the renovation of the old closed school, transformed into an onsen accommodation opens for lunch for the first time this autumn (booking essential).
“Ubusuna House”, the old minka house with popular restaurant and gallery space for potteries opens for eight days during the autumn program.
・Try new menu at “Echigo-Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo” or BBQ overlooking artworks outdoor at Matsudai Nohbutai.

■ Must-try ② Special Exhibitions
“TASHIMA Seizo collections” at Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, KINARE, “Satoyama Food Festa 2020 autumn new rice” at Matsudai Nohbutai, two exhibitions at Museum of Picture Book Art are open during the weekdays as well as weekends.

■ Must-try ③ Artwork exclusively open for the autumn program × recommended itineraries
Some of the popular artworks are exclusively open on Saturdays and Sundays until Sunday 1 November 2020. You may like to check
recommended itineraries as you plan your visit.
