We are pleased to inform you that the official bus tour “Echigo-Tsumari This Year – Day Trip Bus Tour” will be operated in October and November. The tour participants will be able to enjoy tasting newly harvested Uonuma Koshihikari rice for lunch. Join the tour to see, eat and feel the brief autumn in Echigo-Tsumari before winter falls.
The tour will be accompanied by a local tour guide who will show you artworks and landscape. The itinerary is perfect for those who visit Echigo-Tsumari for the first time or think about visiting the festival solo.

[The first half of November] Echigo-Tsumari x Hokuetsu Express - Bus and Train! A lot of things to do in autumn

The tour in the first half of November will include a bus ride between the artworks and an early viewing of the train work by Panoramatics/Seiichi Saito, which will be released next year! We will board a special train of the Hokuhoku Line, a well-known train in Echigo-Tsumari, and enjoy the works from inside the station. For lunch, we will have a full meal cooked by local mothers at “Ubusuna House”.

In the second half of November, we will offer a different itinerary from the “Echigo-Tsumari Day trip bus tour” in October. For lunch, we will have the buffet at Echigo-Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo. This is the last tour of the year, and we hope you will enjoy it before you lose sight of the outdoor artworks due to winter preparations.
