The “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale” isn’t limited to the triennial art festival—you can enjoy Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale artwork year-round. If you’re wondering how to explore the vast Echigo-Tsumari region, which features over 200 permanent installations, or what kinds of facilities are available, this is a must-see! We’ve released a pamphlet featuring an overview map of the entire area and descriptions of selected facilities and artworks.(Available in five languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.) Please feel free to use it.
*Opening hours vary by facility and artwork. Please click the “Artwork Display Calendar” button to check the display status of each artwork.
As part of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field’s year-round program, “Echigo-Tsumari Art Field 2026” is currently underway from April 25 to November 8, 2026 (Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, except holidays). During this period, visitors can use a “Common Ticket” to tour the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale’s artwork, offering better value than purchasing individual tickets for each venue for those planning to visit multiple sites.
