Ubusuna House
Coinciding with ETAT 2006, an old thatched-roof minka (Japanese-style traditional house) built in 1924 has been refurbished as a museum of pottery as well as a restaurant serving local cuisine. The ground floor serves as a restaurants and is filled with distinctive potteries including a cooking stove, washbasin, and bathtub, as well as plates and bowls created by potters. Three tea rooms on the upper floor serve as gallery space as well a comfortable resting space.
We are pleased to open Ubusuna House for everyone to stay overnight while enjoying hearty meals and warm local hospitality.

-Payment can be made only with cash. We do not accept credit cards.
-We only offer a stay with meals.
-Guest may book for one night only. No consecutive stay. After the dinner, no staff will be watching over the house. Please take care of your own belongings.
-There are multiple art works in the house. If you break the art piece during your stay, we’ll be asking you to pay for the damage.
-No smoking in the house. There is a smoking area just outside the entrance of the house.
-Please note that we have a poor phone reception around and inside the house.
-Ubusuna house is located in the peaceful village. Please do not make loud sound at nigh t that will be a nuisance to our neighbors.
-It usually gets cold at night. Please bring your own outerwear. - [Cancellation]
