Rice Planting at Australia House 2026

Summary

Last year’s rice planting event was a lively affair, with participants from the Urada district, local Australians, and visitors from Tokyo all joining in. When you get your hands dirty and plant the rice seedlings yourself, rice becomes something you can really connect with. And come autumn, the fields will be filled with bountiful, ripening rice ears. Why not join us this spring for the rice planting, as we look forward to the autumn harvest? We look forward to seeing you there.
