We will introduce some of the restaurants and cafes that you should definitely stop by when viewing the artworks. TSUMARI BURGER,” which was very popular last year, is back! A new menu has been introduced at “Ubusuna House,” where you can enjoy handmade lunches prepared by local mothers. 1F Community Space

Original burgers supervised by Chef Fumio Yonezawa are sold. For spring, “TSUMARI BURGER~Special Menchikatsu of Tsumari Pork,” which was introduced last year, will be served. Enjoy the bittersweet, blowtorch juicy menchikatsu made with an abundance of the spring wild edible butterbur, Butterbur. A set with a craft cola is recommended.

2F Salon MonET Coffee

Two River” is a cafe and a work of art by Massimo Bartolini feat. Lorenzo Bini. Inside the store, you can enjoy a relaxing and rich time, cakes and other sweets, coffee, and more.

Ubusuna House

An old thatched-roof house about 100 years old. Enjoy seasonal home-style meals prepared by local mothers in dishes created by a leading Japanese ceramic artist.
Reservations can be made in advance; however, due to the limited number of meals available, advance reservations are recommended.

Open: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from April 29 to November 5

Echigo Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo

This artwork and restaurant is located inside Matsudai [Nohbutai]. Enjoy the “Satoyama Buffet” featuring local delicacies and home-style dishes of Matsudai while enjoying the art space! Weekends and holidays may be full, so we recommend making a reservation via the web between 11:00-12:00.

Business days: Open all year round (closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Hachi Café

The café is set up in a room of an art museum where the entire building of a former elementary school has been turned into a “spatial picture book. You can enjoy sweets and drinks made with the finest ingredients. Original pot blends, iced coffee with water, and cake plates (drink sets available)
