A special tour where you can enjoy the Snow Fireworks—held for the first time in six years—and traditional feasts served by the local mothers. Join guides on a tour and fully experience winter in Echigo-Tsumari.
《Tour Highlights》
・Enjoy the Snow Fireworks, snow play, and winter art
・This is a bus tour departing from and returning to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, so it’s perfect even for those who aren’t confident driving a car
・Lunch on Day 1 is the “Yukimi-Gozen” served by the local mothers of the village
・Lunch on Day 2 is a cheese fondue buffet at Matsudai Satoyama Shokudo
Accommodation: Hotel Route Inn Tokamachi
Meals: 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner
*Please note that the Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel may be closed depending on snow conditions. In that case, we will substitute the visit with a stop at another artwork.
*Hotel accommodations are either single or twin rooms. Since there are only a limited number of twin rooms, priority will be given to families with children.

Kiyotsukyo Gorge is considered one of Japan’s three great gorges. Here, you can experience the fusion of the gorge’s ever-changing beauty—from the fresh greenery of spring, the deep green of summer, the autumn foliage, to the snowy landscapes of winter—with art.
*Please note that the Kiyotsukyo Gorge Tunnel may be closed due to heavy snowfall. In that case, we will arrange a stop at another artwork instead.

Through the faint light, the scent of straw, and the sounds echoing through the hallway, you can experience the artwork with your whole body. Feel the memories that have accumulated over a period of time in this school building, which has long been enveloped in snow.
  For lunch, we’ll sample local “special occasion” dishes.
[Lunch] Yukimi-Gozen
A variety of flavorful dishes, prepared by the mothers of the village and brimming with wisdom for staying healthy through the harsh winter. The dishes are served on lacquerware that was once used for the village’s celebrations and funerals and has been carefully passed down through the generations. Please enjoy the unique flavors of this region, passed down alongside the way of life in these snow-covered rural mountains. (Photo for illustrative purposes only)

・The itinerary may be changed or canceled due to natural disasters or road conditions.
・Seats on the bus will be assigned. If you are traveling with others who have made separate reservations, please note this in the remarks section.
・You will be walking on snow to view the artwork. Please wear snow boots or rubber boots that cover your ankles.
・The arrival time at the final destination may vary. Please allow plenty of time when booking your return Shinkansen ticket.
