Born in 1972 in Tokyo. Joined Seinendan in 1996 as an actor and started his career as play-writer and theatre director. Established a theatre company called “SAMPLE” in 2007 with a play called “BURNING UP CALORIES”and became independent from Seinendan. While featuring individuals with their own maps in hands aimlessly wondering in his play,he poses a question on any boundaries lie in between reality and fantasy, product and people, man and women, actor and audience and attempts to go beyond such borders and mix them up. Received the 55thKishida Kunio Drama Award for “Jiman no Musuko (My son, my pride) in 2011. Participated in 2016 Kuandu Arts Festival in Taiwan with “Takeoff” and in Festival d’Automne in Paris in France with “Proud Son” in 2018.
