After a scorching summer, the fall season has begun, the perfect time to visit the works. What kind of artworks are available? How to visit the works? We will introduce the contents you can enjoy from September 5 to November 13, the last day of the festival.

⑴ Check the opening date of each artworks in advance!

Please note that “Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2022” will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the entire period of the Triennale, and with the exception of some facilities, almost all works will be closed to the public.

(2) Prepare your passport for viewing artworks!

A Passport is required to view all the artworks. It is definitely more economical to purchase a passport and visit each facility or artwork, rather than paying individual fees.

Passport sales and exchange locations have been added since the summer. Please note, however, that there are a limited number of “exchange” locations for the passport if you purchase online or pay at a convenience store. Below is a list of sales and exchange locations, so please check in advance.

Official Guided Tours

A perfect solution for those who are less confident in driving – these official guided tours, including lunch, depart and complete at Echigo-Yuzawa station. Participants will explore the festival with knowledgeable guides and visit hub facilities as well as new artworks for ETAT2022.
